Just exploring North Finchley and came across this cafe.
This review is missing an extra row of stars for service and atmosphere.
Excellent and very friendly staff, a lovely warm welcome. Really great make me feel happy and relaxed.
I ordered an All Day Breakfast Set 3, for under a tenner.
Firstly perfect cup of tea, not too milky.
There were enough beans to cover the breakfast from start to finish. The two simple gauges of an excellent cafe.
It only took 2/3 minutes from when I sat down for everything to come.
The boss is super friendly to all the families and kids.
Staff were cleaning and topping up the tables frequently.
Can’t praise this cafe enough, I will be bringing the family down soon.

Family owned since 1988? You can tell, as they are so rightly proud of this well run cafe.
Clean and plentiful seating (40+ seats), with clean toilet for patrons.
Wide-ranging menu. Ordered the ‘set 4’ breakfast, and which was served piping hot and was absolutely delicious! Had more breakfasts that I can count at cafes and this was one of the best.
Staff welcoming and friendly and engage in conversation readily.
Will be sure to visit again next time I’m in North Finchley.

A proper family cafe run by some of the nicest people you'll meet. This place is at the heart of the local community and you can see that by the way the staff interact with all of their customers, resulting in a super warm and friendly atmosphere.
The amazing service is not let down by the food either. The full English is always 5⭐, with good quality ingredients cooked well. They also offer a wide variety of all the cafe classics all at a very reasonable price.
Couldn't recommend this place enough and feel lucky to have a great cafe such as this in the area!

My favourite cafe in the local area - Popular 2 Cafe is a must visit whenever I am in North Finchley! It is a lovely family, owned cafe with the most enthusiastic and kind people you'll ever meet running it. The prices are very reasonable, I typically spend around £20 for two main meals and two drinks when I visit the cafe with another person. For the price, you may expect the food to not be good quality, but it is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection!
